These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website Golala Technologies Limited, www.golalaapp.com (“Website”), and the “Golala App” mobile application (“App”). Together, the Website and App are referred to as the “Platform.”
Please read these Terms carefully. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our services, and we request that you uninstall the App. By installing, downloading, or using the Platform in any way, you are entering into a contract with Golala Technologies and accept these Terms along with other Golala App policies (including but not limited to the Cancellation & Refund Policy and Privacy Policy), as updated on the Platform from time to time.
These Terms take effect on the date you download, install, or use the Platform, creating a legally binding agreement. The Platform is intended for use by (i) individuals who are at least 18 years old and (ii) corporate legal entities, such as companies. Where applicable, these Terms may include country-specific provisions.
All commercial and contractual terms are offered and agreed upon solely between Buyers and Stores. These terms include, but are not limited to, price, taxes, shipping costs, payment methods, payment terms, delivery dates, delivery methods, warranties, and after-sales services. Golala App does not control, determine, advise, or in any way participate in the offering or acceptance of such terms between Buyers and Stores.
Golala App may provide support services to Stores related to order fulfilment, payment collection, customer service, and other functions, as specified in separate contracts with Stores. Golala App is not liable for any non-performance or breach of contracts between Buyers and Stores on the Platform, nor can it guarantee that either party will fulfil their obligations in any transaction.
Golala App operates as an e-commerce facilitator and does not, at any time during transactions between Buyers and Stores, take possession of any products or services offered by Stores. Golala App does not hold any rights, title, or interest in the products and is not liable for any contracts between Buyers and Stores. You acknowledge that Golala App is not responsible for:
Menu details and prices displayed on the Platform are based on information provided by Stores. Golala App is not liable for any changes, cancellations, or unavailability. All menu and food images used on the Platform are for representation purposes only and may not match the actual food, groceries, or shop items ordered. Golala App is not responsible for any discrepancies or variations.
Golala App provides the services of connecting Buyers, Stores, and delivery personnel, including couriers and dispatchers, to facilitate the transportation and delivery of orders. The following conditions apply to such services:
To use our service, you must create an account on the Platform. During account creation, we will request personally identifiable information such as your name, phone number, and email address. We may also collect demographic information like your zip code and allow you to provide additional information for your profile.
You control how much information to share beyond the basics required to establish your account. We advise you to carefully consider the information you share and to protect your identity and sensitive data. You can review and update your profile at any time.
Estimated delivery times provided at the order confirmation are approximate and may vary. Golala App is not responsible for delays caused by the Store’s order processing, courier availability, or other unavoidable circumstances.
Orders will be delivered only to the address specified by you at the time of order placement. Golala App reserves the right to cancel the order if the delivery address changes, with no entitlement to a refund. Changes to the delivery location are at Golala App’s sole discretion, and additional delivery fees may apply.
You must provide accurate delivery instructions and authorization to receive the order. Failure to accept delivery or provide adequate instructions or authorization will result in the goods being deemed delivered, transferring all risk and responsibility to you with no entitlement to a refund.
Our decision in such matters is final. Our liability ends once the order is delivered.
You may be required to provide credit or debit card details to approved payment gateways when making payments. You agree to provide accurate credit/debit card information and confirm that you are authorized to use the card. Information provided will only be shared with third parties as necessary for fraud verification or legal compliance. You are solely responsible for the security and confidentiality of your payment details. Golala App disclaims liability for any unauthorized use of your payment information.
Services will only be provided during the operating hours of the relevant Stores.

Golala App reserves the right to modify these Terms and related policies at any time by posting updates on the Platform. We recommend that you review these Terms regularly. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the amended Terms.
Golala App may add or remove payment methods at its discretion. Payments via online methods will be processed by third-party payment providers. All online payments are processed through PayStack, our trusted third-party payment provider. PayStack handles all payment data securely according to its own privacy practices. We recommend reviewing PayStack’s Privacy Policy for details. With your consent, your payment details may be stored for future use. Golala App does not store your payment information directly. Ensure that your card has sufficient funds for payment. Stores are responsible for processing payments, including refunds, chargebacks, cancellations, and disputes, where reasonable and justified and in accordance with these Terms.
Golala App reserves the right to cancel any order due to product unavailability, delivery area restrictions, or other unavoidable circumstances.
